FAQ
Do you give out RAW unedited images?
I do not offer RAW unedited images as they do not reflect the final product of my service.
Can we hire a second shooter through you?
Absolutely, I have a great list of 2nd shooters. They will cost $450 for the 6-hour package and $600 for the 8-hour package. This will vary for larger packages. I will do all the paying and communication with them so it's one less stressor on your end. I will be editing all of the photos afterward. They will only work during the main photographer's contracted time.
What kind of gear do you use?
I shoot with a Canon R6 Mirrorless. I always keep a secondary camera on me in case of emergency! I have backups of all gear and am ready for whatever life throws at us!
Do you post behind the scenes on the wedding day?
ABSOLUTELY! My favorite thing is capturing videos and behind the scenes on your big day. It's a whirlwind of a day so it's always nice seeing videos the morning after. All these BTS will be on my instagram page (@madlandphotography_). Reels might be made as well ;)
Do you shoot destination weddings/shoots?
Yes, I do charge a travel fee if it's over 30 miles outside of St. Louis. The fee is $0.50 per mile after the initial 30 miles (for driving). As for out of state, airfare and hotel pricing can be discussed. I OFFER DISCOUNTED PACKAGES FOR ELOPEMENTS! Certain destinations are FREE and you only have to pay travel fees :) please reach out and let's make some magic anywhere your heart desires!

Both packages include a complimentary engagement session?
Of course, I wholeheartedly want to get our relationship started asap! I want to capture your love continuously throughout this process. I offer a complimentary engagement session up to 12 months before the wedding date. This includes a complimentary bottle of champagne to pop ;) This will be discussed and planned during the consultation process.
